In practice that means four things working together: a workflow engine that knows the sequence and the rules, integrations that read and write to your existing systems, document handling for anything that arrives as a file, and monitoring that tells you how the process is performing while it runs. ApexNova provides all four, which is what separates it from a scripted point solution that automates one hop and leaves the rest alone.
No. ApexNova is deliberately an orchestration layer, not a system of record. Your ERP stays your ERP and your CRM stays your CRM.
The platform reads from and writes to those systems through connectors and APIs, and coordinates the steps between them. That is usually where the delay and the manual effort actually live, and it means a project can deliver value without a migration attached to it.
For a well-bounded first process, six weeks from kickoff to production is a realistic target: roughly two weeks of discovery and mapping, three weeks of build and sandbox testing, and one week of staged rollout.
What moves that date is rarely the build. It is access to systems, availability of the people who know the exceptions, and how many undocumented variants the process turns out to have. Discovery is designed to surface all three early, while the plan can still change.
It goes to a person, with context. An exception does not mean the workflow crashes or silently guesses.
Every process is built with an explicit exception path: the case is parked in a review queue with the reason, the data collected so far, and the step it stopped on. A reviewer resolves it and the case continues from where it stopped rather than restarting. Exception rates are reported, because a rising rate is usually the first sign that something upstream has changed.
It is not. That is exactly what the robot capability exists for.
Where a system offers no integration point, an unattended robot operates it the way a person would, through its own interface, on a schedule or on demand. It is slower and more brittle than an API, so we treat it as the deliberate second choice rather than the default, and we say so plainly in the design rather than presenting it as equivalent.

In all three, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is controlled by role down to the individual workflow step, credentials are held in a secrets vault rather than in workflow definitions, and every read, write and configuration change is written to an append-only audit log that administrators can export but not alter.
Not to operate it. The canvas, the rules tables and the exception queues are built for process owners and operations teams, and most day-to-day changes such as a threshold, an approver or a new routing branch are made without writing code.
Developers become useful at the edges: a bespoke connector, an unusual transformation, or embedding an ApexNova workflow inside one of your own applications. Those hooks are documented and open, and our delivery team covers them during the first engagement so your team is not dependent on us afterwards.
Pricing is based on the number of processes you run in production and the volume of cases flowing through them, with the delivery work for the first process quoted separately.
